Rangr Highlight 🙌
This is Edgar Lim, a curious engineer that worked his way up from Sales engineering to becoming the VP of Engineering and Procurement at EnterSolar. He is a humble problem solver with a talent for looking for the bright side of any occasion. He started his journey during the recession in 2008 where his two engineering offers disappeared. He traveled across the country twice and the world to pursue a new career in solar energy. He will share about his many passions, insights on starting from the sales division of a company and then to engineering, taking a chance on entrepreneurship, and how managed to a mostly plant-based diet.

Never Stop Learning
Just because I was an engineer, that doesn’t mean I can’t learn new things

By reading about 2 to 3 books a month, I’ve racked up 400 books in learnings till now and highly encourage applying the knowledge quickly.
Be Humble and Grounded
My Father was a captain of an airline, and he always reminded me to always be humble since there is always someone that could teach you something. By being in a position of humility gives you unexpected opportunities to learn.
Think Long Term
There will always be moments where you don’t like what you are doing right now. Try to imagine where those tasks fit in the long run and to ask the hard questions of why am I doing what I am doing.
